Buy Me Some Peanuts and Cracker Jacks....or Giant Slushies in Really Tall Glasses with Free Refills!

I had great plans of catching lots of baseball games with the kids this summer but so far, we've only been to one. My nephew's baseball team was participating in the "Field of Dreams" where they have each of the kids run out onto the field with one of the players as they announce the starting line-up. So we went to cheer on Zachary! (He is the little blue dot on first base about the center of the picture!)

 

Then it was time to watch the game and the kids all disappeared to the play area. I knew that would happen. So there Julie, Bob, Ivy and myself sat, watching the game sans kids. They popped in every now and again and we made it through about seven innings before we called it a night. Go Owlz!

 This is Hoot and Holly the team mascots. Holly must be new. I don't remember her from previous games. She looks mean. I'm sure she's nice, but still...she frightens me.
