I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be.

"Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch.
My baby, my first born and only boy, is growing up and has officially surpassed me in height. When I think about him leaving within 4-5 years I get so sad. Time is running out and I worry that I have failed and I haven't taught him enough. I start to worry that there is so much more I need to cram into the next several years. Sometimes I wish I could turn the clock back and rock that tiny baby again. He won't let me rock him these days, but we are close.Anyway, I digress. He turned 14 back in August and he let me take some pictures of him. He really wanted a long board and had been saving up. Since it looked like it would take him most of the summer we made him a deal that we'd buy the board for his birthday and let him have it at the beginning of summer so he could really enjoy it. He has definitely put some miles on it.
I had to add this one because he is so funny. He pulled this pose to be funny and I snapped the picture. First thing he said...."Don't you dare post this on your blog!" Too bad for him that he never reads my blog so he won't know!
He has also started playing football for Orem High School (Fresh/Soph Team). They have a ton of kids so they don't get as much playing time as they are used to. He has been able to play every game though so far and had a fantastic game last week. We have loved watching his games!

I see you guys all the time, but it's been so long since I've seen Tyler! I can't believe how much he's grown! I love the pics...especially the REAL smiles! ;)
So fun to read-I can't believe how grown up he is!! What a fun personality, too.
