Here it goes...

So after months of reading and enjoying everyone else's blogs I am starting to cave to peer pressure. This is definitely a case of "everyone's doing it", "oh, come on, it's no big deal", "all the 'cool' kids are doing it". Chris has been bugging me for a long time that I should start one. I just didn't see the point at all. Who cares about my life? I've decided though, that this may be as close to keeping a journal as I'll get for a while, and I can really keep a record of the memories of the funny stuff my kids do and say. So this will mainly be for me to record those thoughts. If they amuse anyone else, all the better. Its really funny though, because ever since Susan put together the Gleed Family Blogsorter, and I've been keeping up with everyone, I see my life in "blog form". I'll have an experience and then think about how I'd write about it. It's really weird. Sometimes I do that with my life as a book. I'll think about how that experience could be recorded in story form. Well, there it is. My first post. I guess that wasn't too difficult. Keeping it up will be the hard part!
