My Poor, Deprived Children...

I took the kids in to the dentist yesterday for cleanings and check-ups. After receiving a clean bill of dental health, the hygienist asked Tyler if he'd get to do something fun, like go to McDonald's for lunch. Tyler told her "No, we aren't restaurant people, we are the homemade kind of people". I laughed when he told me that story. McKenna also had a cavity-free visit, but Lauren compensated for the both by having two cavities which might be baby root canals that will need crowns if they are. They also had to take extra, panoramic x-rays because they are concerned about crowding issues. That is probably the reason we are "Homemade" and not "Restaurant" people. :0)
