Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow...

or should I say, Hair Yesterday, Gone Today!

YIPPPPEEEEEEE! Yes, I am jumping for joy because if I had to wash and comb out Lauren's hair ONE MORE TIME!!! I might have done something drastic.

Here's the before....
Yes, I know, just beautiful, golden hair, spun gold as some like to say. To me, it's just hair and a big pain in the butt.

Here's the middle...
These two beauties are off to Locks of Love where it can be made into a wig for someone who will really need it AND will appreciate and love it.

And this is the result.
Truth be told, this is not quite what either of us expected. I sort of pictured it a little longer and flipping out. But, I am boring and simple. And, Lauren has REALLY elastic hair that shrinks when it is dry, more than normal I swear. However, we both L-O-V-E, LOVE it. It totally changes her appearance and makes her look so much more grown-up and it matches her personality. I am really excited about it and can't wait to wash and comb it out for the first time. She is very happy too and can't wait to see what her friends will say. Thanks Buffy, you are amazing!!

Side Note: Lauren donated 13 inches to Locks of Love 3 years ago almost to the day. Today was about that, but a little more was then cut off to style it.
