Oh Christmas Tree...

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, you really disappoint me.
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, there's nothing "Grand" about thee.
You have turned brown and crispy too, your limbs hang down and touch the ground.
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Chrstimas Tree, next year a "Noble" it will be.
I HATE our tree. We went with a Grand fir that looked stunning when we bought it. Perfectly shaped and gorgeous! We brought it home and decorated it all up and it looked good. I was a little disappointed because it had trouble holding most of our ornaments because the limbs were rather flimsy, but it still looked pretty good. By the end of the night though, it was starting to lean a little. No problem, we propped it up with a book. However, each day it keeps tilting a little more. I'm surprised it hasn't fallen over yet. I also was really good this year and watered it really well but it didn't seem to help. It still turned brown and crispy within a few days. A week later all the branches have sagged down towards the ground and the ornaments and beads are falling off. I've propped it up some more and am just hoping it makes it two more days. Then, "OUT you go you naughty tree!"

I'm sorry, that's no fun. Where did you get yours this year? We got ours from the lot on state after 400 S. We've gotten ours from there since we moved here and have never had problems, we got I think a grand, but I love douglas. I guess it's the Oregonian coming out in me. Good luck next year. I bet I can guess when you are taking down your tree . . .
