Tuesday afternoon, Chris took Brooklynn & McKenna to the circus. For the past several years he has taken Lauren to the Nutcracker Ballet for her special daddy-daughter date. We told McKenna she could have a special daddy-daughter date as well and she chose going to the circus. This year, however, she really wanted to take Brooklynn with her which was so sweet.
There were only three things that McKenna really cared about: Riding the elephant, eating cotton candy and trying to catch the beach balls they throw up into the audience. Check. Check. Um, not check. The day was almost a complete success. I guess they replaced the beach balls with lions and tigers and bears, oh my! On the way home I guess Brooklynn was pretty upset that there weren't any beach balls. McKenna kept telling her all about the circus and what to expect so no beach balls was a disappointment.This year they added riding the ponies. It is a good thing daddy does this because mommy would be no fun at all. I about choked on how much it costs to ride those animals...times 2! But the girls had a blast.

That looked liked soooo much fun! That was so sweet of McKenna to share her daddy-daughter date. Hmmm, will Brooklynn expect to go again next year??? I'm glad Brooklynn wasn't afraid of her elephant ride. Both girls looks so sweet and what a wonderful daddy to share this special memory! :o)
That was so nice that McKenna wanted Brooklynn to come! What a love.
