Moving at the speed of life...

Oh where, oh where has my free time all gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
Is it school or church or piano please?
Oh where, oh where can it be?

Oh where, oh where has my free time all gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
With cub scouts and ball and 4-H for all.
Oh where, oh where can it be?

Oh where, oh where has my free time all gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
We've had strep, and flu and now mom's earache.
Oh where, oh where can it be?

Oh where, oh where has my free time all gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
With the read-a-thon and my new calling.
OH THERE, OH THERE, IT IS GONE!

So the past six weeks have been just about the busiest and craziest we've had in a long while, and I'm normally pretty busy. The last two weeks almost did me in.

I am in charge of our elementary school's read-a-thon which is a month long. During which time I put in 82 hours working on it! I had some amazing moms (who may never speak to me again) help me with a lot of it but it still took up an enormous amount of my time. During the last 10 days, which are the busiest, I also had our annual Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet and received a new calling at church...Primary President. Brooklynn also got sick which really put a kink in my schedule and I ended up with an ear infection. Those really hurt! I don't think I've ever had one as an adult. I know I will definitely be more sympathetic the next time one of my kids gets one.

Not to worry though, this is one of the ways I cope...daily, sometimes hourly.
I finally feel like I can relax again, maybe.

I just posted a little about you and the fact that you just finished RAT and now Primary Pres. You are an amazing woman and you are going to do great. And yes I will still talk to you, just not about RAT, lol

Oh my goodness! Primary President! Two things: 1) that is BIG and 2) you will be fabulous. I'm sure it's intimidating and overwhelming. You will be perfect, though!

Ah the soothing, medicinal properties of a handful of chocolate chips, I know it well. Well I'm glad for you that the read-a-thon is over and I wish you the best of luck in your new calling, not that you need it, but good luck all the same. I love you and think you're amazing!
