Well, it has been brought to my attention that I need to update my blog. ;0) But whenever I think about how many things I want to post about and how far behind I am, I get overwhelmed. Besides that, I am crazy busy with our schools read-a-thon...enough said. So this is what you get.
My thoughts have been so wrapped up in this family the past week. I just can't get them off my mind. They live about a mile from us and Chris works with a couple of ladies from the family's previous ward. The mom writes beautifully and I just can't help but think how this could so easily be me (the accident, not the writing beautifully...I can't form complete sentences when I'm not stressed, let alone when tragedy strikes). It certainly puts into perspective life and priorities. I am trying to be more patient and am trying to savor life's little moments a bit more this week. I am truly thankful for all I have and know how blessed I am.

I'm honestly speechless after reading that blog. Life is so frail.
Thanks for sharing! :o) My heart goes out to that family. It certainly puts life into perspective. I think all of us now and then take for granted that which we have. Every time Kirsten gets sick my heart gets heavy but I've learned to adjust and simply 'accept.' I don't always like it, but she is such stellar example of 'patience and acceptance.' It certainly teaches me to 'trust in the Lord with all my heart.'
