I decided that I’d schedule all the kids activities in June and get them done and over with so we could go on vacation in July and then relax in August and get ready for school. Our schedule was busier than it had been during school and we had to start earlier! It actually has gone better than I had hoped for but I’m glad it’s almost over.
We have to be out the door by 7:45 every morning. My friend Katie and I have our kids in the same classes so we are able to carpool. It’s been a lifesaver!! Brooklynn has soccer camp on Monday and Wednesday mornings while Tyler and Lauren are at Tennis lessons. McKenna has soccer camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Brooklynn and McKenna both have swimming lessons every day, while Lauren had a week-long Theater camp too. Throw in Piano lessons on Mondays for Tyler and Lauren, Scouts on Tuesdays, Playgroup on Tuesday’s and Thursdays, Scout Camp for a week and it makes for quite a busy month. I walk on MWF with a friend at 6:30am and on T/TH with some other friends while the kids are at Soccer camp. We try to hit the library at least once a week too. The kids have been enjoying their activities though and Tyler and Lauren have discovered that they both really enjoy tennis. Except for the back float, Brooklynn LOVES swimming and McKenna has always been our little fish and has been begging the teacher to let them jump off the diving board since day 1. Everything is wrapping up this week and then we’ll have a few days to get ready for our trip.

Phew! Just reading your schedule makes me tired! Sounds like lots of fun, and a great game plan to get it all done this month!
WOW! That is some schedule! What a fun time for the kids though! I hope July won't seem boring to them after such a busy June! I'm sure you'll like a little break and some well deserved rest sort of relaxation. We're looking forward to seeing you soon!♥
That sounds like such a crazy schedule but so much fun!! Good idea for planning and I think it is such a neat thing that they all get to try new things and learn new skills. Fun summer.
