Way To Go Tyler!

This year Tyler decided to give Track a try. He's not much of a runner so I was surprised at this but was very supportive of anything athletic. He started out running longer distances, the mile and the 800, and gave long jump a try. Halfway through the season he was playing around at practice with the shot put and decided he kind of liked it. So he gave up long jump and tried shot put. He qualified for the district or county meet called "Alpine Days". Since we are new to the whole track scene I don't know too much about it other than it's a big deal. Tyler did GREAT! He placed FIRST for all the 7th grade boys in the competition! We were really proud of him and for giving something new a try.
