It's GREAT to be EIGHT!

Last Saturday McKenna was able to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were very excited to spend this special day with so many friends and family. McKenna was really excited to be baptized and we were proud of her decision. We appreciate everyone who was able to make it and helped us celebrate this wonderful occasion. It was a great day!
McKenna is a Grandpa's girl and has always loved going to visit him in Idaho. I'm pretty sure if we let her, she'd choose to live with him over us. She asked us a few months ago if he could baptize her and we said sure. Grandpa was happy to oblige. She was really excited. The dress she is wearing is a family heirloom. Chris' mom made it and every granddaughter in the Gleed family has worn it to be baptized in. I hope it will hold up for one more girl though, it's getting pretty worn.
These are the only two pictures I took all day. I got so caught up in getting ready for the baptism, preparing food, visiting with family and friends, etc., that I totally forgot to take pictures. I know Pene took a few so I will post those later.

Here are some of the pictures my amazing niece took for McKenna's announcement. It was hard to pick just one. Thanks Pene!
Congratulations McKenna! WE LOVE YOU!

This last one of Kenna is gorgeous. They are all wonderful, and it looks like she's really happy. Yay, 3 down, 1 to go.

What absolutely beautiful photos - impossible to pick just one of them! My favourite is the last.
