Our Lauren turned 12 on April 23rd. She definitely is growing up and is a beautiful young lady. She has been so excited to be able to graduate from Primary and start attending Young Women's. Her birthday fell on a Monday so we celebrated with family on Sunday evening. She didn't want the huge chocolate cake with lots of chocolate shavings and tons of frosting from Costco...no matter how hard I tried to convince her. She didn't really want traditional cake at all. We finally settled on Strawberry Shortcake which was nice and refreshing.
I brought her "12" balloons to school in her favorite color.
Here she is with her birthday stuff. She wanted a room makeover for her birthday, so she got lots of stuff for that. My sister Julie made her the cute zebra/orange pillow.
After dinner we went to Farr's for some frozen yogurt.
We are so glad that Lauren is a part of our family and growing up into such a beautiful young women. We love you Lauren!! Happy Birthday!!

She is SUCH a pretty girl! I'm glad she had a good birthday (though I'm sorry you didn't get to have Costco cake:) im in love with her balloon bouquet, and it seems like her bedroom is going to look awesome! I'll have to take a peek when I come down in a few weeks!!!
