Teacher Appreciation Week

One of my responsibilities as room mother is to decorate the classroom door for Teacher Appreciation Week. This year I have been McKenna's room mom for third grade. All I can say is "Thank Goodness for Pinterest"! There were so many cute ideas, it was hard to choose. But because her classroom theme this year was race cars, I decided to do a car themed door. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Here was the finished product all ready to be hung on the door.

A close-up of the bumper stickers I made. I was pretty bummed because I used spray adhesive and when I went to put the car on the background it crinkled and there was no moving it without it ripping.

Then for teacher appreciation gifts, I did some potted plants for the head teachers and S'More kits for all the aides and student teachers.
