Hot Air Balloon Festival

Every year there is a huge Hot Air Balloon Festival around the 4th of July. Depending on the way the holiday falls, if we are in town we always try to go. It's a feat though waking everyone up and getting down to the fields by 6am. However, it is always worth it. It is so fun to walk around the balloons as they fill, talk to the pilots and just be a part of the atmosphere. This year we stood under the giant pig balloon as it filled up. I didn't get any good pictures of that because all you could see was "PINK"! Can't wait for next year!
