Teacher Appreciation

This year I did the doors for both girls teachers. I actually really like doing it but it is always more work than I anticipate and I am usually super picky and end up unhappy with something. This year was no different but both teachers LOVED their doors.

I asked the girls what their teachers liked, or what books the class had really enjoyed, etc. Brooklynn said that they were reading Charlotte's Web and I found a cute idea for that door. It was a little more involved than I bargained for but in the end her teacher was thrilled. She said it tied in with so many things they had been talking about in class.
(Instead of Charlotte, that is actually a profile of Brooklynn's teacher, Mrs. Whitaker...who is AMAZING!)
(I glued on little plastic spiders for each of the kids)
McKenna said her teacher loved Dr. Suess so I found a cute idea for that. I don't even want to think about the number of hours I spent coloring!
In the end both teachers were really happy and I was glad it was worth the effort even if all the imperfections still bothered me.
