In case you didn't know, I am a closet Dancing with the Stars fan. I don't know why I don't like to admit it, but I secretly love the show. Anyway, this season, they have these adorable children competing for a title too. They have a couple from Utah, Brandon & Brittney, that have made it to the finals. I never vote on this show, I'm too embarrassed, but I actually did vote for these two last week. They are waayyyy good! And, Brittney is deaf in one ear which makes her dancing even more impressive.
So back to my connection. Lauren's class had their talent show today to see who would go on to represent the class at the school level and Lauren played piano...she did wonderful. However, my post is about her classmate Myla who did ballroom dancing. I found out she dances at the same studio that Brandon and Brittney dance at. I also found out, Myla and her partner tried out for DWTS but didn't make it. They are soooo cute though and wowed the class.
So there you have it, my "Utah Connection".

Is that boy in Lauren's class to. He's really good. So who made it to the school level comp? That sounds like a lot of fun. Good job Lauren.
LOVE IT!! I'm addicted to Dancing with the Stars. And I think the whole world knows about it because I blog about it. :) You should watch So You Think You Can Dance. I might even love it more than Dancing! It's on Fox and starts up May 22!
No, the boy doesn't go to our school. He just came because he was Myla's partner. He was cute as a button too.
Lauren was brave to play. Bravo Lauren! :o) I would have been all thumbs and had sweaty palms, nerves! :o/
I thought Evan and Lyla were adorable! However, I thought the boy was waayyy good!
So who did move up in Lauren's Elem. competition??? Still wondering...
I'm so glad you like DWTS. I've been watching it since the 2nd season started. I love it! Can't say I like some of the costumes, but most of the dancing I like! I vote for Kristi and Mark every single week! :o)
