It's going to be a long week around here. McKenna is quite the fish when it comes to swimming. She always has been. She loves to swim and would live in the pool if she could figure out a way. This year she learned how to do hand stands and spends most of the day trying to perfect her skills. Cannonballs have also been added to her bag of tricks. The other day she said, "Mom, I want to be a Guppy." I told her that wasn't possible. Tyler said, "Sure it is mom. When she dies and goes to Heaven and gets to create her own worlds, she can create a world of guppies." That made her pretty happy and at least I know he's listening sometimes during Primary & FHE. So, why the long week? She got Swimmer's Ear. I knew it was bound to happen, but hoped it wouldn't. So since Saturday night she's been a pretty sad girl. No swimming for her this week.

One Fish, Cute Fish, Sad Fish, No Fish

I'm so sorry McKenna, I can totally relate! I grew up with tubes in my ears and couldn't swim without earplugs making spontaneous swimming impossible for me, and it is no fun watching other people play in the pool:(
At least it's only a week! She takes after her grandma Jenna Lee who was also a fish! I knew that about her as soon as I knew anything! She loved to be in water!
Well, McKenna you can practice doing head stands until your ear clears up! You can try some acrobats on your trampoline than you can test out in the water when you ear is better!
Love ya!
