Say "CHEEEZZZEEE"

Yesterday was picture day for the kids but I decided not to order any. They take them again in the Spring and I always end up loving those so much more that we decided to wait. But I still wanted them to look nice for the class photo. So I took pictures of the kids before they left for school.
Tyler - had an amazing football game last night, even though they lost. It was the toughest team in the league and we played so well against them. Tyler had a couple of sacks, a couple tackles for loss of yards, stripped the ball, recovered a fumble and had some fantastic tackles. He had a great kick-off return that resulted in him getting the wind knocked out of him for a few minutes but he came off for one play and went right back out there. I video taped most of this game, however, I have really bad luck and managed to miss all the great things he did.

Lauren - went a birthday party the day before pictures and they went to the beauty school and had their nails and hair done. She loved her hair so much that she wanted to wear it the next day for pictures. However, it didn't last too good so I had to improvise which I thought turned out pretty cute. She is LOVING her polynesian dance class. They asked her to be a lead dancer and her teacher asked us if she had ever taken hula before because she was a natural.

McKenna - is looking 95% better. She has two spot that were pretty deep that still are healing but the rest of her face looks great and her nose isn't swollen anymore and the bruising is barely noticeable. She is so good to remind me to put cream on it every day to speed up the healing and it is working.

Brooklynn - has been weaned from sippy cups!!! This is kind of sad though because I need to watch her constantly to make sure she isn't flinging it all over and making messes. But we needed to because she was drinking way to much milk and it was a comfort thing. Can't take credit for it though, it started because when we went to Idaho for the weekend, we forget them at home. Worked out though! Here she is just being goofy in her silly hat.

Picture day is coming for us soon too... though because I homeschool, I'll take him someplace. I love the stories that you have with each of your children! It's great to see that McKenna's face is healing quickly!

Awww, they look great! Good idea about only buying the spring pictures.

I love the flowers in Lauren's hair; so pretty! I didn't know she was taking hula lessons; how fun! :)

BTW - I tagged you! Directions are on my blog! I didn't link to your blog, because I don't know if you want random people reading it or not.

The kids look so wonderful! Little Brooklynn should model hats; she's a natural! :o) Congratulations on the sippy cups! A sign of her growing up, sniff, sob. Tyler did an awesome job at the game! Wish I could be there. That's why I can every week to hear the blow by blow!
Love ya!
Mom :o)
