I might need to adjust my teaching practices.
Kids like analogies and I'm big on them too. We tend to relate a lot of things to football with Tyler because it keeps his attention and helps him to understand things clearly. We've also noticed his school teacher and piano teacher like to use football too. I should probably mention here, that Tyler has a...um, slight...obsession with football. Maybe, perhaps, just a little. His football is actually starting to become an extra appendage. He sleeps with it and carries it EVERYWHERE!!! Case in point, his favorite quiet time activity at church is drawing his own football plays and sketching logos of the San Diego Chargers. Today while peeking over my shoulder, he saw a message titled, "VT". He got all excited and asked if that was an email about Virginia Tech Football. Nope, sorry to disappoint, but VT in my email doesn't have anything to do with football. Then, yesterday at church, one of the leaders came over and said that they suspected that this picture, with no name on it, might be Tyler's. Good guess. Sadly, this isn't the first church/football related picture.

This is hilarious! I can't wait to have Jim read this post when he gets home today. A boy after his own heart. Look at his dad and grandpa there really is no hope. Thanks for sharing!!
That is so funny! I love it and I am still laughing. I do think the message at the bottom is pretty deep, though. Smart kid.
Now that's what I call 'focus!' Hee! Hee! Gotta love that kid! :o)
That is awesome!!
That's awesome Michelle! Jake is the same way, except his obsession is Star Wars!
