Reflections of Bears

The national PTA sponsors an arts program called "Reflections". They choose a theme for the year and the kids create art pieces around that theme such as Visual Arts, Photography, 3-D arts, Literature, Choreography, Video, etc. Then they are judged. My kids always love to enter. This year the them was "Wow" and Tyler won for his division in Literature. He wrote a story about, what else, football. Unfortunately, my camera died at the assembly before I got any pictures. Good job Tyler! And in case you are wondering, Yes, he needs a haircut. (He also entered the visual arts with a picture of...you guessed it, Football, titled "The Greatest Catch." Lauren also entered a beautiful picture of a Hummingbird. Maybe I'll scan them in when we get them back.)

Also, Lauren got to go to Build-a-Bear on Saturday to use her GC from Santa. She has been so excited but was sick during Christmas Break. So finally the day came. She was so thoughtful about every item and carefully added up her purchases...then hit me up for an advance when the card didn't quite cover it all. It turned out cute! Her other outfit is a gymnastics outfit. And this picture is blurry and I don't know why. We aren't very happy with the new camera we got last year.
