We just got back from a quick trip to Arizona where we had a great time at my family reunion. I'll post about that later because I haven't even had time to look at the hundreds of pictures yet. But I had to write this one down because I thought it was pretty funny.
Our neighbors behind us and kind of to the corner have a dog named Moose. I don't think Brooklynn (3yrs old) has actually ever seen the dog. She just knows what he sounds like...barking. When we got to our hotel there was a dog barking late at night and Brooklynn noticed and pointed it out to Chris. He said something to the effect of, yes, I hear the dog too. Brooklynn said,
"No, Daddy, it's a Moose!"
I think the real Moose looks like this but honestly, my memory isn't the best and I haven't seen him in a while.

Well now when I look at that picture of a moose you can totally tell that he's trying to bark. Kids are so funny and smart with the things they put together in their little minds, it always makes me laugh. Give her a squish for me, would ya?
