Christmas Festivities - Part 2

Santa gets around! After we finished with the ward breakfast we got our letters for Santa and headed down to the Riverwoods. If you ever want a great experience with Santa, this is the place. He is so friendly and genuine and you get cookies and punch. Last year they had a Mrs. Claus and handed out cute little crafts for the kids. Anyway, we were there before he was so we were waiting inside for him. When he arrived, McKenna spotted him first, screamed "Santa" and went flying out the door and threw herself on him giving him a huge hug. He gave her a big hug back and walked with her into the store and got right to business. We thought maybe he'd have to get all situated but he was just so great and told us she was fine and that was what he was here for. He took the time to read every kids list IN IT'S ENTIRETY!! And even was patient while we translated some. We got to take lots of pictures and the kids didn't feel rushed at all. Love that Santa.
Tyler was a good sport and even wrote a letter to Santa for me. He asked for a dog again. (The answer is still No)

McKenna and Santa
Lauren...of course I've been good (below).

Brooklynn was a little braver here but still had to hold dads hand. She did eventually give Santa a hug.
They had a huge Nutcracker there so we had to take Lauren's picture with it.

I had to post a picture of Lauren's letter to Santa.
"She COUNTS on him".
