St. Patricks Day Fun

I'm not usually the sort mom who wakes up and makes breakfast and certainly not creative ones at that. Just getting everyone out the door to school on-time is a major event in our house. So there were no green eggs and ham around here this morning. I got to talking with the girls I walk with this morning about how boring we were and thought, why not a green dinner? It's not too late. So after I got home I decided to make a "green dinner". I made Broccoli and Cheese soup in green bread bowls, green apples, green jello, green milk and green donuts for dessert. It was fun thinking about all the green food I could have made. I might do color themed meals more often!

McKenna is my most difficult child to photograph. Always has been. She just makes the goofiest faces! This was after about 20 tries. We're going with it!

My little leprechaun and her green mustache!

How fun, that dinner looks pretty impressive!
I had thought about green pancakes or something but settled on chocolate chip mint ice cream for dessert. Tasty, but definitely not as fun as your dinner!

Very cute and yummy! It's a keeper for sure! Your children will long remember this one! They will probably tell their friends about it too! One cool mom! No green at my house. I went to the temple!

What a fun mom you are! I think about things like that. Now I need to work on my "follow-thru". Actually, the thought didn't even cross my mind this year. Maybe I need to spend more time thinking...wow! Some time to think.
