Tyler had a "country report" that he has been working on for about two months. He chose to do "Italy". Last week, we went and watched him present his research to his class and helped him serve pizza and Italian sodas. Luckily, at the last minute we discovered his primary teacher served her mission in Italy and helped out by loaning him some souvenirs. He did a great job and got an A+!
Lauren also has been busy working on a report. Her class has been studying the water cycle and had to type up a report as well as bring in some kind of model. She worked very hard and presented her report last week as well. She hasn't been graded yet but I'm sure she did fantastic!
McKenna's class has been practicing for a Reader's Theater about the Statue of Liberty and how she came to America. McKenna was "Reader #3". The goal isn't to memorize, although she did have it memorized. It is more about being able to read with expression. I can't say that her part was very exciting so it was hard to read with much expression. But, she did have one line that she did great adding lots of expression. "Wow! That's incredible! Tell me more." It was kind of funny because she read just normal throughout the whole play and then at that line she was bursting with expression! She did a great job!
A couple of weeks ago we drove up to Kaysville to celebrate Chris' dads 75th birthday. We had fun visiting with everyone and eating great food. We had so many yummy salads, I didn't even eat the main course!
Pene took some great pictures and it makes me realize what a crummy camera we have and what an artistic eye Pene has. She also took some fun pictures of all the kids running around. I really liked these two of Tyler and Brooklynn.

Great job kids! I'm sure the parents are due some credit here as well! :o) Love the pictures that Pene took! Tyler is looking more handsome and too much older looking! ♥
I'm so scared for when the girls get old enough to have school projects - I'm so lazy is the main problem here. I probably should have thought about that before I went and had three kids huh?
But good job kids! And I love the pictures:)
That's a really great picture of Tyler and Brooklyn. If they were my kids I'd blow that one up on canvas!
