Guptill Family Reunion - Day 2 (Seaside)

After Tillamook we headed North to Seaside. Seaside is quaint little beach town with lots of things to do and a great beach. There are lots of little touristy things to do in town, fun shops, the Candyman TAFFY Store, beach volleyball, bonfires and more. We decided to head straight to the beach and bypass the main drag in town. We set up camp and the kids headed straight for the water. Only crazy people swim at the beach in Oregon. We had lots of those in tow. It was a beautiful day for the Oregon coast. It was sunny enough to be warm but not too hot.

The View

Here are some of the crazies.

Chris bought a skim board for the kids. They all had fun giving it a try.

Brooklynn enjoyed digging

If this group looks like trouble, you'd be right. This particular activity involved feeding the birds, chasing the birds and then repeating. Again, and again, and again, and again.....

This group was content to dig and move the sand around or cover their feet.

Here is LaRue with her beautiful feather creation. We tried not to think about the disgusting germs and diseases that might accompany these feathers.

After a day full of fun, we built a small fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for S'mores.

This picture is just for documentation purposes to prove that I actually was on this vacation.

Tyler enjoying his S'more.
