Brooklynn's Day of Firsts

Wednesday, September 1st was Brooklynn's first day of Pre-School. She was SO excited. She picked out her clothes the night before and was up early. She rubbed off on everybody else because everyone else got up early too. She was so excited about everything and couldn't wait to get there. I was super lucky and "was able" (wink wink for those who know what I mean) to stay with her the whole day and help out in class.

After school, Brooklynn also had her first soccer game! We didn't know what to expect since she'd never played before but she hit the field running....and scoring....5 goals! She was a little firecracker and was so excited after each goal. She also really likes the girls on her team. One of the little girls, Sophie, and her kept dancing around, hugging, doing somersaults, and being totally silly. The coach would tell them to watch for the ball and then Brooklynn would take off, score a goal and then go right back to Sophie and start doing somersaults again. It was pretty cute. She was so excited after the first day of practice that she slept with her ball. I think she likes soccer!

This was one of her first goals. She starts kicking the ball down and then another girl takes over and then she takes it from the other girl, oops, and scores a goal. We'll have to work on not taking it from your own teammate.

Could she be any more adorable?! I LOOOOOVE the account of her soccer game and only wish that I could have been there cheering her on. What a cute little preschooler you have!

That was so cute! She looks so happy about going to school! Tell her to savor that for when she may not be quite so anxious to go to school! Conratulations on her soccer achievements! Go Brooklynn! :o) ♥ Mom
