Happy Halloween!

Well, Halloween came and went in a whirlwind of activities. The kids had all their parties at school on Friday and then we had our ward party that night. Then because we live in Utah, we were able to trick-or-treat on Saturday. (Sometimes I really love this place). I thought for sure we'd get some trick-or-treaters on Sunday but we didn't get any!

I helped out with Brooklynn's class party and then stayed for the school parade.

McKenna - a gothic spider witch or something like that.

Lauren - a candy corn witch

That night at the last minute Chris and I decided to dress up. Literally just before the ward party. Chris threw on his zombie costume and I did a Greek-ish lady. Probably more of a roman/greek/egyptian lady, but whatever. I didn't even take any pictures until right as we were leaving and I asked my friend to take a picture of me. Chris had already left. But you can see what he looked like here...from a last year. I haven't gotten the one of me yet but when I do, I'll put in on here. After the ward party I came home and put the little girls to bed and put a movie on for the older two while I snuck away to a friends house across the street for an adult party. It was fun to get away and Chris was even able to stop by after work for a little bit. Tyler couldn't decide what to be after literally stopping at half a dozen stores. Finally as he was walking out the door with a friend he threw on a ninja mask and black clothes. He is super picky these days. And, he wasn't dressed when we took pictures.

The weather Saturday was terrible. It was windy and rainy and cold. Luckily it cleared up after we'd been out for a little but we were too cold and wet to enjoy it. We didn't do that much. Julie and her kids came over and the the older kids took off and we took around the little ones. At least the little kids didn't want to stay out too long and we were able to come home. After we did our neighborhood, Julie took the older kids back to her neighborhood for more trick-or-treating and a sleepover. It was a fun night despite the weather.

Braxton, Zack and Brynnly....must be a boy thing because Quintin wasn't dressed either at picture time.

What a fun time! I love everyone's costumes! Zachary makes a cute man in the yellow hat with his little Braxton monkey! Ha! Ha! :o) I love Lauren's candy corn outfit, cute idea! Brynnly doesn't look like Brynnly! I wasn't sure who she was, good cover up! Thanks for all the pictures! ♥
