This was the cake she helped me design. It wasn't exactly what we had set out to do but she liked it and that's what counts. Everything else had to be pink too!
Here they are playing a game of "Pass the Glass Slipper" (Hot Potato for princesses, more refined you know, because, duh, princesses wouldn't be tossing around a hot potato)
We also played a "Pin the Crown" game but I didn't take any pictures, oops. Next we colored princess pictures. Then we had cake and ice cream, opened presents and then played and watched Beauty and the Beast until parents came.

Brooklynn and her little friends, (L-R) Abby, Katelin, Brooklynn, Sophia and Emma. She had a really great time.

The next day, her actual birthday, we had to get up early so we could open presents before we left for a funeral. Because my camera stinks, these pictures are all yellow-y and orange-ish and some are blurry. Really, it's the camera. Not me. She wanted everything wrapped up in princess paper, so we obliged.

She got some money from Grandma Great, Grandma & Grandpa Guptill and The Newby's. She was quite excited to have her own money. Auntie Julie also stopped by with a cute purse and some playdough! Thank you to everyone who brought or sent a gift. We love you!

After the funeral we came home and had some cake and ice cream with just the fam. We have had some yuckies around here and didn't want to spread the love. We sang Happy Birthday and she got to blow out her candles, again. And no, I didn't make two cakes. This is really just half of a cake. I was lazy that way this year, since we weren't having everyone over.

Lastly, I just got your comment on my food blog! I'm so glad that you liked that pizza! We really enjoyed it. And of *course* I would never mind if you posted the recipe on your own food blog, I'm flattered you enjoyed it. =)
