Out with the Long and in with the Short

I have gotten so sick of combing out long tangle-y (apparently not a real word) hair for both girls. Seriously, it takes me FOREVER to comb out all the rats after a shower, no matter how much conditioner and de-tangling spray I use. I told both girls that I was cutting their hair! McKenna did NOT like that idea at all. Brooklynn was game and so we had hers cut. It is SO much easier to deal with and I really like it. Because of the unfortunate accident HERE, we went with bangs, which I think suit her anyway. I figured after Brooklynn had hers cut and if we made a big fuss about it, McKenna would want hers cut too. It worked like a charm! So last Friday we had it cut. I LOVE it and it is so much easier to take care of. I will admit that last Sunday when I straightened it, it looked so long and pretty and I was having second thoughts about cutting it. But it took half the time this Sunday and looked darling. She loves it too.
