Lauren and I spent most of Saturday hanging out. In the morning, she had an audition for "Sound of Music". She really loves theater and about a week before the audition we decided to have her try-out. We watched the movie and then called a friend for some quick voice lessons and audition prep/help. She didn't make the play, but we are really proud of her for trying out. She was pretty nervous and they had over 300 people try out for a play that really only has about a dozen characters. It was a good experience and she'd like to try again for another play.

After that we went shopping to exchange some thing she got for her birthday. We found some really awesome pants that unfortunately, just didn't come in my size. Shoot! ;0)
My sister Julie and I decided for our daughters birthdays this year we would like to take them out for "Girls Night Out". Their birthdays are about a month apart. So later that afternoon we took them for manicures and then out for dessert at "The Chocolate". We all had a really nice time visiting and enjoying yummy treats. We'll have to do that again!
