I ♥ America

Lauren participated in the "Hope of America" program with her school at the Marriott Center at BYU. This program is a patriotic program for all 5th graders from schools around Utah County. They practice for several months and learn all about freedom, the declaration of independence, the bill of rights, voting and equality. The kids really enjoy it and it is a really great program. They have some other singing, acting, dancing groups that do little numbers between songs. Tyler participated two years ago and was excited to go and watch Lauren.
There is one number where they all have to wear sunglasses...so cool, right?

We can be a light, I couldn't get it to play. The others were great! I always get nostalgic when anything about the military is shown. Great job kids! :o)
