Field Day & Water Day

Wednesday was Field Day for the older girls and water day for Brooklynn. Lauren pulled a muscle in the top of her thigh the day before field day and we sort of threw away her tennis shoes over Memorial Day weekend so she was stressing out over running. She was in a lot of pain but pushed it to the limit. She came in 4th for the class race which means she didn't qualify for the finals but I still thought that was pretty good. McKenna didn't place either and was disappointed but oh well, there is always next year. Since they always place, they both were bummed.

Water Day for Brooklynn - since the pre-schoolers don't participate in the Field Day activities, they have a end-of-the-year water party. They set up a little pool, put out some sprinklers and water guns, order pizza and have shave ice. Brooklynn was so excited for this day because they get to wear their swimming suits to school!
