When we first moved here to Utah and didn't have kids in school, sports, callings, music lessons, scouts, activity days, after school classes, pta, or any real huge responsibilities...we used to drive around a lot....oh yeah, and ridiculous gas prices. Oh, how I miss those days. Every Sunday our drives would usually end at the Provo Temple and we'd get out and walk around. We decided to take Tyler's picture by the same tree every season and contrast the changes in Tyler and the young tree...how much he'd grown, how much the tree had grown and the changes of colors. After a year, it was fun to look back and see the growth. A few weeks ago we ventured back up on a Sunday afternoon with the whole family. Let's just say that it isn't quite as peaceful as it used to be....4 kids later. :0) When we came around the backside we saw the little tree and remembered how we used to take Tyler's pictures. After enough begging, he finally consented to standing next to the little tree again. Only, it wasn't so little anymore, nor was he. In fact, we weren't sure exactly which of two trees it was. They had both grown so much and it had been soooo long we couldn't tell. We picked the one we thought it was but in the end, we were wrong. However, they are both only a little ways apart, are the same kind of tree and they are the same size so it doesn't really matter. These pictures are roughly 9 years apart.

AAAAAAWWWWWW!!!!!
So CUTE!
And a little bit scary how CRAZY fast he (and the tree:) are growing up.
Oh, I love that kid!
Wow, that was cool. How special! Just a little reminder too, how time marches on without us even realizing.
