Happy "4th" Year Anniversary Little Blog

Today marks four years (and 395 posts) since I started blogging. It seems like only yesterday I started blogging because I'm a follower and "everybody was doing it". You can read all about my super exciting first post HERE. Probably not worth the effort to click though, really. I had great plans on posting something really exciting today. However, the day got away from me. I spent most of the day canning applesauce with my sister Julie, which by the way, was very enjoyable. Chatting along side her as we worked, enjoying the crisp Autumn day with the smell of steaming apples in the air and the chatter of children playing in the other room. Then it was a whirlwind of picking up kids, making dinner, cooking soup for the teacher's dinner at school, packing Tyler off to his game and then attending said game. I just got home and I'm tired so the exciting post will have to wait. Good news though, Tyler's team won!! It was a bittersweet win though because they had to play the other half of their team. This year they had to split into two teams and today was the day they faced off. So, happy we won but sad we had to beat our other half. I'm sure you have all been wondering where my every-other-day football posts have been and the truth is...wait for it. I haven't taken a SINGLE picture this season!! I had great intentions of taking some today, but forgot the camera at home. In other news, we are still alive and busy around here, I just haven't been very motivated to post. I did change my background though, that's something, right? :0) I'll try to do better since there are lots of activities around the corner. I guess I'll close this post in honor of my first post by confessing I'm just a sheep (baaaaaa) and caved to peer pressure again. I joined Pinterest. I don't have much yet and I'm hoping not to spend too much time on there, but I've heard that is difficult. Well, there you have it. Happy Birthday Bloggy Dear!!
