Our Gorgeous Views
The past few years, a couple of other families in our neighborhood have all gotten together to go hiking over the Fall Break. This year our "hiking expert" took off for Hawaii and didn't have a new hike for us so we went back to Big Springs since we knew it was doable with kids. It was a GORGEOUS day. The weather was absolutely perfect. It was so beautiful up in the mountains with the crisp, clean air and the warm sun on our backs. We all made it up and down in one piece mostly...Brooklynn fell about 10 minutes before we got down and scraped up her knee. Overall it was a fun hike. (Thanks to Katie for all these great pictures. I took some on my phone and they really looked horrible next to hers.)

Tyler - I think he was hiding in the grass here to scare the girls.At the top, we all stopped for a snack and to catch our breath before we headed back down.
