Pumpkin Patch

I was able to go with Brooklynn on her class field trip to Hee Haws. The kids are so cute at this age. Riding the bus for most of them is the best thing in the world. I think they were more exited about that than the pumpkin patch.
Brooklynn, Sophie & Xander on the bus, ready to go!

Here we all learn about the activities & rules before we get started.

Brooklynn was pretty disappointed that the train wasn't up and running during her field trip. She decided that she would hop in anyway.

We had to wait a few minutes before the hay ride was back so we took the opportunity to grab a picture of our group. (Sophie, Adam, MJ, Harrison, Xander & Brooklynn)

All the kids got to go pick up a pumpkin. While most kids naturally gravitate to the largest pumpkins in the patch, Brooklynn was on a mission to find the smallest pumpkin ever. I think she succeeded, her's was only about the size of her fist.
Next we spent some time in the petting zoo. These poor animals...it's a PETA nightmare! No wonder the chickens were missing half their feathers.
We also went through the corn maze and man, those kids were fast! Luckily we didn't lose anyone but we did find a little girl that got separated from her group. It was a fun day.
