We are starting to wind down the school year which means only one thing...I feel like I am living at the school. Everyday someone has some program or activity. Here's the run down on the past week or so.
I got to go bowling with Brooklynn and the Kindergarteners. That was a fun day...at least until I made a mistake on the last frame (is that what it's called?) and one of the girls in my group got shorted a turn and freaked out on me. I'm not a bowler, how was I supposed to know? Lesson learned!
Then Brooklynn had a Mother's Day program with lots of cute songs and narrations. I'd upload videos but this new blogger format doesn't like my videos and I haven't figured out how to fix it yet.
McKenna had a reader's theater, which I missed because I was sick. Chris went and took some videos but again, the blogger thing. Oh, and did I mention I went on a field trip to the movie "Chimpanzee" with McKenna and the third graders? Here's a picture of McKenna's backside. We are walking to the movie theater from the school a few blocks away.
Then it was time for McKenna's third grade program. They sing lots of songs about what they have learned all year. It was a cute program.
Sometime during all this we celebrated Mother's Day. Just had to document the nice gift Brooklynn gave me. She doesn't suffer from self-esteem issues at all! Thanks Brooklynn, I'm one lucky mom to be just like YOU! :0)
Next up will be Field Day, Dance Festival, Awards Assembly and the 6th Grade
Party! But first, we are headin' to Idaho for the long weekend! Phew!

What a fun activity, bowling! Glad Brooklynn had a nice rogram. The one picture of McKenna and her friend, McKenna made me take a double take look! She looks like a carbon copy of her sister Lauren! Beautiful girls! :o)
