Brooklynn...She's Patriotic & RAD

Brooklynn had her First Grade Patriotic Program this month and she was so excited for it. She practiced her part, memorized her songs and was giddy about the whole thing for weeks. It was a cute program and everyone did great!

 

Later that month she graduated from her first session of RadKids. We try to offer it to our 1st, 3rd & 5th graders so that they are continually be trained throughout elementary school. They changed things up a bit this year (per the RadKids program) and I didn't like it as much. The new guy they had playing "the bad guy" wasn't as engaging as in years past. Overall though, I feel safer knowing that my kids have this experience.
