Summer is FINALLY here!
This past week has been the first decent week we've seen since Easter! It has been consistently hot the entire week. So we finally set up the pool. The kids were swimming in it before it was even half full. Today they swam for 5 hours straight. I was reminded that THIS is how I survive summer. They will swim all day long, every day. I just need to find a real comfy lawn chair and catch up on some reading. Oh yeah, and we are total white trash. Brooklynn ran around all day on Saturday in just a diaper, moppy mullet haircut and she even found herself a fishin' pole. Am I not just the best mom?

Hee hee! I'm laughing at Brooklyn. That is so cute! I think we're going to be spending the majority of summer outside in the pool, too.
Sumer has finally arrived! Even in the NW! :o) I remember in Hawaii how we set up a pool in the summers. I lived in the pool! Your sweet kids look like they love it too! Have you thought about just putting Brooklynn in training panties? Saves diapers!

I'm glad I am your backyard neighbor, I get to spy on you guys all day! Actually, maybe I'll throw my kids over the fence and let them swim with yours. Sounds good?
