I finally finished Breaking Dawn. Probably the last person I know to finish, but hey, I was on vacation and, I couldn't exactly get my hands on a copy for any length of time...not naming any names here. What did I think you may ask? Actually, you probably don't care, but I'm going to tell you anyway. So, if for some reason you haven't finished the book. STOP!!! SPOILER ALERT!!
First off, let me just preface my comments by saying, I loved the series overall, it was a really fun read. I am NOT an overly obsessed superfan however. When I read the books with my analytical side turned off, they are so much fun. It's when I get to thinking about them for too long, I over analyze and then they start to become less fabulous to me. I enjoyed the first book the best and then New Moon.
I had a slight problem reading this book. I let my imagination form the characters for the first three books and then the movie started production and now all I can see is the actors that will portray them which are ok, just not what I had in mind. (I visualized Edward being much hotter) So that was a little weird. Jacob in particular. My brother had a guy in his wedding who my sister thought reminded her of Jacob and now that's all I can think about. In fact, when I was talking to him at the wedding, I kept giggling like a school girl.
So on to the verdict. I had a few problems with this book. My biggest gripe was baby's name. Renesmee??? Come on, are you joking???!!! I might even have been able to overlook this if she hadn't paired it with Carlie!!! Can I just say, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. But moving on, I felt like things all fell into place a little too easily. I suppose that's what every one wants, but it left me feeling like it was a little less believable. I know that sounds silly, given this is a book about vampires and shape shifters...not werewolves as previously assumed, but there were just some things that seemed unrealistic even for this book. Another thing that bugged me was sloppy editing...hello people, TYPOS.
Overall, I liked it. I won't read it again, but then again I rarely if ever read books twice. I'm also really glad I don't have any kids wanting to read it because I don't feel it is appropriate for young, hormonal teenagers. But, I'm glad I read them all. I really enjoyed them and think they are really fun. Now on to something else.....Enna Burning in case you are interested in knowing. :0)

I just thought of a reason to appreciate the name Renesmee. Now whatever I name my next child, no matter how wacky, new fangled or old fashioned, it can't possibly be as bad as renesmee right?
We are still waiting for the official pics of your new hairstyle. I did see some of your pics from your wedding trip.Looks like you went red! I have been red for a while I just had some hilights done today.
