A Year of CrockPotting

I found this site a few weeks ago and am in love. I don't particularly love cooking. Mostly because of the mess associated with cooking but also because I get no real thrill out of it. I hate coming up with things that are yummy, kid friendly, easy, fast and cheap. And these days, cooking is really hard because I just don't have time. The time I should be getting it ready is the time the kids are just coming home from school and need snacks, homework help, lessons, practices, etc. I have more time in the mornings usually and like to cook things in my crockpot. But, my recipes were getting boring and I hate most of the ones from my crockpot cookbook. So when I stumbled upon this blog, it was a match made in heaven. I've tried a few of her recipes and so far so good. With the exception of McKenna, who hates everything, most have been keepers. My favorite part of each recipe is the verdict at the bottom. It helps me to decide if my family might like it or not. She is completely honest and tells all about the flops along with the successes. And she's funny too. She'll try to make just about ANYTHING in a crockpot. If you love your crockpot like I do, you'll like this site too.
