McKenna is our pickiest eater and hates just about everything we serve. However, she did eat the food tonight. I guess the prayer worked! :0)

That's so funny! Usually during the beginning and end of pregnancy I'll just ask 'please bless that it won't make us (me) sick'. You gotta do what you gotta do:)
Hi Michelle, I love your blog background, it's so pretty. I've just enjoyed reading your last few posts and enjoying looking at the back to school photos. In response to banning the TV and video games I think you are a great example to all of us mums. It's a hard thing to do because we all become so reliant on those two things for entertainment. Isn't it nice to see the change when you finally take them away! When I was growing up my mum got so sick of the TV dominating our home and influencing us that she simply got rid of it!! We didn't have a TV for at least two years (boy did I spend a lot of hours drawing and colouring in pictures!!) Anyway, I've never thought of a 30 day ban but I will definitely be keeping it in mind as my boys get older! I'm sure the experts would say, 'good parenting Michelle' and you deserve a medal for your bravery!!
