Birthday Wishes

Happy Birthday Mason!
This little guy turned "4" yesterday.

That in and of itself is a MIRACLE!! We were able to help him celebrate with a party at the hospital and while celebrating a birthday in the hospital stinks, I'm glad he's here and able to celebrate. I am grateful that his sweet mother had the intuition and persistence to insist that something wasn't right and find out what was wrong. His story would most likely be very different had she not. This little guy is one tough cookie and he is impressing the doctors repeatedly with his recovery. He is doing things that most kids don't do for weeks following surgery. He has a long ways to go and the road is rough but I know he will make it, he's a fighter!
